D and I have been mulling over whether or not my stopovers in Tokyo and Singapore airports count enough for me to get two new stars in those countries (for that matter, add New Zealand to the list!). While I didn't leave the airport in any of those places, I do have some fond memories of the exciting or strange new things I encountered.
What do you think? Should I get a few shiny new red stars on the map, or do I need to actually visit the country properly for it to count?

It totally counts. unless you spent your whole time running for the airplane, it counts.
