Ferngully: part 3 (paddling!)

One of the best things we did in the Daintree was to go on a "sunrise kayak" paddling trip with the owner of our hostel and some of the other guests. It was so fantastic!

Sunrise over the Pacific Ocean..
Breakky!
Paddling!

Rocks!
Second breakky yessss.

Essentially, we paddled from Cow Bay, the beach nearest the hostel, around the end of the rocks which protect the cove, to other beaches nearby, where our guide told us stories about hunting wild boars with compound bows and how to spot crocodile tracks. He fed us an enormous amount of fruit, and then we hopped back in the boats and paddled to another beach, where we swam while he gave us delicious carrot cake/bread WHILE IN THE OCEAN so it was sweet and salty at the same time. That was probably my favorite part. ^^
