Apparently, Good Friday is a much more important holiday here in Oz than it is back home, so just about everything is shut down today. The buses are even on a special schedule.
FINALLY made it to Easter break. >_<; Suffice to say, GIS is horribly taught; if you have 200+ students who keep asking OVER AND OVER again what is it exactly we're supposed to do for our individual project (worth 25% of our grade), you know something has gone wrong somewhere.... >:|
Muddling through that crap kept me mostly caged in the computer lab for the last two weeks, but I did manage to sneak out to watch more episodes of a British tv show called "Being Human" with Unisfa. Vampires + werewolves + ghosts + popcorn = happy me. ^_^
Other than that I've been remarkably boring, so today you get more happy internet links!
I am utterly in love with this essay, but MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SECOND PAGE. I almost missed it the first time I read it, but it's the second page that is the best part.
This is the best place to find new music (other than raiding your friends iTunes, of course).
Gallipoli was super depressing, but Heath Ledger was waaaaaay hot in Two Hands.
Lastly, it's makes me so happy that it's impossible to have a favorite episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender because every single episode is even more amazing than the last (though, granted, pretty much anything is better than that first episode >.>.....).
